MVJ Pre University College was abuzz with excitement and fervor as we celebrated the AIKYAM-2023 Annual Sports Meet on September 14th and 15th, 2023. This prestigious event, hosted at the renowned Dr. MV Jayaraman Auditorium, witnessed the presence of Dr. Lovely Dutta Pruisty, Principal of Delhi Public School, as our esteemed chief guest.
The event began with a solemn invocation by our college choir, setting the stage for a day filled with enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Lahari, a student from 1st PUC Science, extended a warm welcome to all in attendance. The official inauguration took place with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the commencement of AIKYAM-2023. Dr. Lovely Dutta Pruisty’s enthusiastic participation in a game of volleyball inspired our students, and her motivational address left a lasting impact.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the spirited participation of students from various classes in a range of indoor and outdoor sports events, including cricket, throw ball, kho-kho, volleyball, Kabaddi, tug of war, shot put, the exhilarating 100 meters race, chess, and table tennis. Meghana and Apoorva, students of 1st PUC Science and Commerce respectively, expressed gratitude and narrated the program’s highlights.
