We have celebrated MVJ Annual day “Kala Sambhrama 2024” on 21st January 2024 at Dr.MV Jayaraman Auditorium.
The chief guest for the event was Resptd. Smt. Bharathi Shetty, Honourable Member of Karnataka Legislative Council and Guest of honour is Dr. Tessy Tom, Principal MVJ degree college.
The program started at 12.00 am with invocation to the Lord Shiva by the college Choir and lighting the Lamp by the special guests.
The Annual report of the college is a crowning glory of any annual day event. Mrs. Mary Monica, lecturer in computer science, presented the annual report of the academic session 2023-24 by paying tribute to the Founder Dr. M.V Jayaraman.
Gomini of class 2nd PUC Science welcomed the gathering on behalf of the college.

The chief guest smt. Bharathi Shetty, addressed the gathering and inspired the students by her motivational speech. Addressing the gathering, she stated that, students should not only be imparted excellent education but also be given great scruples and values so they can effectively serve their nation.
Students who excelled in cultural events and sports were awarded with the prizes by the chief guest and guest of honour. Payal of class 1st PUC commerce, Sai Roshan of Second PUC Commerce, and Yuvraj of 1st PUC Science announced the names of the winners in various cultural events and sports.
The principal of MVJ Pre University College Mr. Balakrishna Aliveli, gave his presidential address and inspired the students with his words of wisdom. Addressing the gathering, he expressed his deepest sense of gratitude to the Founder Dr. M.V Jayaraman for his dedicated and selfless service, and tireless efforts to provide quality education to the students. The formal event ended with a vote of thanks.
Yukta Singh of 1st PUC Science proposed the vote of thanks and thanked everyone. Lahari of 1st PUC science and Athul Rajesh of 1st PUC commerce hosted the formal event.

The thematic show of talent, imagination, and organization was the essence of the evening. The students unveiled the power of lord Shiva by their welcome dance. The theme-based dances captivated the audience. The choir group mesmerised the audience and the dignitaries with beautiful melodic songs.
“Action speaks louder than words and nine speaks without a sound”.
The mime shows based on the theme called drunk and drive and usage of mobile phones, captivated the audience.
The cultural Event ended with the national anthem. Abhay, Keerthi and Shubha of second puc science hosted the informal event.
Overall, MVJ Annual day “Kala Sambhrama 2024” was a grand success and unforgettable experience and left a lasting impression on the minds of everyone present.
