The farewell program “ಮೆಲುಕು – 2026” was held on 21st February 2026 at MV Jayaraman Auditorium, MVJ Campus. The event marked a memorable day of reflection, celebration, and gratitude as students, faculty, and staff gathered to bid farewell to the outgoing batch.
The program commenced with an invocation to Lord Ganesha, seeking divine blessings, followed by a warm welcome to all attendees. The Principal, Mr. Balakrishna Aliveli, presided over the ceremony and distributed prizes to winners of various categories, including the Cultural Carnival, Quiz, and Sports Meet. In his address, he narrated a story from the Puranas, emphasizing the duties and responsibilities of students in Kali Yuga, inspiring students to uphold values and integrity in their future endeavors.
Students from ongoing batches shared heartfelt experiences and memories of their time at the college, reflecting on their growth and learning journey. The afternoon session featured vibrant cultural performances by First PUC students, showcasing their talents and enthusiasm. Meanwhile, Second PU students engaged in a nostalgic activity, signing on T-shirts and posting memories on the Memory Wall, creating a lasting tribute to their college life.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the program, followed by the rendition of Nada Geetha, leaving the audience with a sense of pride and emotional closure.
The farewell was a resounding success, celebrating achievements, fostering camaraderie, and leaving cherished memories for all participants.
