MVJ Pre University College recently hosted the “SWANITI-25” quiz competition on August 14, 2025, focusing on the Indian Constitution and current affairs. The event aimed to encourage students to expand their general knowledge beyond their academic subjects. Eight teams participated, competing in two levels: preliminary and main events. The competition consisted of four rounds: General Round, Audio Visual Round, Rapid Fire, and Buzzer Round.
The program commenced with motivational words from Principal Mr. Balakrishna Aliveli, setting a stimulating tone for the event. The General Round was hosted by Mrs. Latha Shankar, Mrs. Precilla Rose Mary, and Mrs. Mallika, while Mrs. Shruti took charge of the Audio Visual Round. Mr. Shree Hari hosted the Rapid Fire Round, and Mr. Mohan handled the Buzzer Round.
The event concluded with the announcement of results, where Vijayanagar Team secured the first position and Rajputs Team claimed the second position. The entire program was meticulously coordinated by Mr. Shree Hari from the Department of Statistics and Mrs. Mallika from the Department of English, with valuable support from the Principal. Mrs Kavitha from the Kannada department delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks. The well-organized event provided a platform for students to showcase their knowledge and skills.
