MVJ Pre University College celebrated inaugural day “AROHANA -2024” at the college auditorium on 01.07.2024, Monday. The purpose of Inaugural Day is to welcome new students in a friendly atmosphere and to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence. It is the day where seniors and juniors finally bond and unite to celebrate being part of the college. The program started with lamp lightning and prayer by the choir group. Sachu of Class second PUC Science welcomed the gathering on behalf of the institution.
The chief guest Shri Anand raj -Deputy Director of PU Education, Bengaluru south, The Guest of Honor Dr Murali S Principal MVJ Degree college, along with the Principal of MVJ Pre University College Mr. Balakrishna Aliveli inaugurated the inaugural day “AROHANA -2024” by lighting the lamp.
The students who secured the highest marks in the Second PUC Annual examination – 2024, Their Academic Accomplishments were acknowledged. Shubha M of Class Second PUC science who has bagged the first position and topped the college by securing 587 marks out of 600 with 97.8% percentage. She has scored centum in Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer science and Kannada. In commerce stream Harish M, has secured the highest marks in his stream by obtaining 578 marks out of 600 with 97.8 percentage.
Later on, the chief guest ant the guest of honor has addressed the gathering and inspired the students with their motivational speech. The principal of MVJ Pre University College Mr. Balakrishna Aliveli, delivered his vitalizing presidential address.
The event was structured in the two categories based on Dancing and Singing.
It is said that Goddess Saraswati the embodiment of limitless knowledge and wisdon, bless and paves the way for us to move forward in life and when it comes to students of MVJ Pre University they never miss a single chance to take such blessings and opening act of Saraswati vandana prayer song was performed by Girls of Class Second PUC commerce & Science, followed by classical dance, Bharathanatyam, Mime show, solo dance, Patriotic Dance, semi classical dance, group dance and musical performance.
The event ended with a vote of thanks which was proposed by Meghana of Class Second PUC Science. Bhavesh Ajay and Hiba of Class Second PUC Commerce & Science, narrated the program. Post event all the students were offered Refreshments and Food.
Thus, a joyful day came to an end and everyone returned with a heart full of memories.
